I have to admit that I probably won't be a crazy "green" person and completely purge my household. I figure if we start out small such as replacing our usual household products {eg: all purpose cleaner, dish soap and laundry detergent} with Seventh Generation products, we would be on our way to making the way we live just a little bit "greener".
Seventh Generation's mission is to "inspire a revolution that nurtures the health of the next seven generations". They are the nation’s leading brand of household and personal care products that help protect human health and the environment. Established in 1988, the Burlington, Vermont based company remains an independent, privately-held company distributing products to natural food stores, supermarkets, mass merchants, and online retailers across the United States and Canada {from Seventh Generation's website}.
Once our Starter Kit arrived on our doorstep, I was anxious to start the Challenge. Not only could my family contribute to preserving our environment for future generations but we could also encourage other families to join us in the Challenge.
Our Starter Kit came with a reusable shopping bag. Perfect way to start green living! |
