As I try to lose my post-baby weight, while juggling our daily activities and taking care of a family of five, I tend to find it difficult to keep healthy eating habits on track. Most of the times I find myself reaching for a quick snack which hopefully is some form of fruit or vegetable, but usually happens to be something sweet or salty. This is where Health Warrior and chia come to the rescue.
Health Warrior Chia Bars will be a busy mom's {or dad's} best friend. An energy bar comprised of chia seeds, the ultimate Superfood, Chia Bars will be your go-to snack when you need a pick-me-upper. I may be a bit biased when it comes to energy bars since I love the taste of them {even the ones that taste like cardboard}, but I can genuinely say that I really enjoyed Health Warrior Chia Bars. They come in three distinct flavours - chocolate peanut butter, coconut and acai berry. As for the energy component, I would say that it satisfied my hunger until I was ready for a real meal.
My only peeve would be that the chia seeds do tend to get stuck in between your teeth. However, I figure the pros outweigh the cons so I can definitely live with a few healthy, energy boosting chia seeds in my teeth.
Health Warrior Chia Bars can be found in stores at Whole Foods, online or via Amazon.com.
